Chongwe Highlights

1X3 Classroom and Waterborne Ablution block constructed at a total cost of K529,920.00
Kanakantapa Police Post completion total amount of K253,114.00 of the 2022 CDF was allocated
Lukoshi Health Post construction at a total of K 454,823.85 by locally sourced contractor.

Luangwa 2024 Highlights

Luangwa Town Council officially handed over a cheque worth K4,069,365 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) loan empowerment to 35 clubs. Marking a significant milestone in empowering local businesses and individuals within the community.
Tilipo Women’s Club secured a K25,000.00 CDF grant, which they used to purchase 20 goats, iron sheets, and materials to construct a goat pen.

Chikankata District

Chikankata Highlights

Chikankata District has witnessed a significant boost in infrastructure development following the commissioning of nine Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects valued at over K6 million.

The commissioned projects include:

Boarding Facility at Chikani Secondary School (2 Dormitories and 2 Ablution Blocks) – K3, 087, 222.40
110 Matresses at Chikani Boarding School – K145, 000.00

The projects commissioned are an ablution block in Mapalo, Streetlights on Tanzania Road, installation of floodlights lights at Northrise Market, Kwabunga Footbridge in Twapia ward and Installation of Solar lights and Water reticulation at Twalubuka Community School.

Kasenengwa District

KANZUTU PRIMARY SCHOOL IN CDF FACE LIFT

The school has an enrolment of 441 pupils from Early Childhood Education to grade 7 covering 9 villages.

In December 2023, the School suffered a setback when the roof of it’s 1X3 classroom block roof blew off leaving learners grappling for learning space.

After having applied for rehabilitation of the blown off roof to the Council, it was determined that the existing building was old and not strong enough to accommodate a new roof.

This facilitated for a new construction of a 1X 3 classroom block under 2023 and 2024 Constituency Development Fund.

January 28, 2026 – Kawambwa Town Council announces the completion of a modern 1×3 classroom block at Chinani Primary School, constructed using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) serving over 300 pupils
2nd April, 2026 – Kawambwa Town Council today handed over two banana boats to residents of Kuyumba and Buyaka communities in Pambashe Constituency

Isoka District

Isoka CDF Highlights

CDF projects being implemented have been completed:

Malale Health Post, constructed at a cost of over K1.3 million;
Chizongolo Health Post, costing about K1.6 million;
Ndeke Primary School staff house, valued at over K610,000;
1×3 classroom block with desks at Kabonde Primary School, which cost over K1 million.
